Very tasty and very moist.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Ingredients:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Batter:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>1 stick melted butter<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>2 large room temp eggs<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>1 tsp vanilla paste<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>200 g (1 cup) sugar<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>230 g sourdough starter (1 1\/4 cup)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>1 tsp baking powder<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>1 tsp baking soda<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>58 g milk or buttermilk at room temp<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Topping<\/strong>:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>200 g ( 1 1\/2 cups) unbleached flour<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>50 g (1\/2 cup) whole wheat flour<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>200 g sugar<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>2 tsp cinnamon<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>1 tsp vanilla paste<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>180 g (1 1\/2 sticks) butter<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Preheat <\/strong>oven to 350F. <strong>Grease <\/strong> a 9\u201d x 9\u201d square pan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Mix<\/strong> the wet ingredients (except milk) in a large bowl. Make sure you scrape the bowl frequently as you want to make sure all these ingredients are mixed thoroughly. Mix the dry ingredients together and add to the wet bowl being careful not to overmix. Lastly add the milk and mix carefully. Pour into the pan and smooth it out.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Mix all topping ingredients together and sprinkle onto the top of the batter. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Bake<\/strong> for 45-50 minutes. Test center to make sure the batter has cooked through.  Let cool for 10 minutes at least. Serve warm or cool.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Edit: <\/strong> I have started adding a 1\/2 cup apple juice in place of the milk and add in3 tbsp of starch flour.
