Matt did an amazing job taking out the winter garden and planting the summer garden while we were gone. We basically missed all of spring traipsing across the country! We had a ridiculous late freeze right after we left which took out the squash I planted just as we left (honeynut), and then summer came on with a bang! But we have corn, purple beans, tomatoes (both regular and cherry), zucchini, butternut, onions, and cucumbers. I planted a pie pumpkin in an open spot just cuz. And of course, lots of flowers!

It was fun to come home to a fully growing garden. And not nearly as much mold as last year when we came back in July. I was picking beans within a week! And I pulled the fall planted garlic right away also. I will continue to post as the garden progresses through the summer!

Good sized tomatoes!
Taking the trees out around the garden gave the corn much more sun!
These snapdragons are now 3 years old
These lantana are finally truly blooming
