It was so nice to finally be able to go to a graduation- usually I am working and it was very hard to take off during these last weeks of school! Or we weren’t allowed to go, like with the Rogers boys. Either way, it was nice to see most of the family go to Tooele for Hannah’s graduation. The Rogers family made it minus Sean, the McGlothlen family was there minus Kaitlyn, and the Bolsers were there minus Jordan and Laura who were still on their honeymoon to Alaska. And we had Cherie and Eric but not Matt, Jenny and Max, since they had just gotten home from Atlanta. It has been a busy month. We got to meet Bri Faircloth for the first time as well as Eddy’s Becky. Fun times!
The graduation was at the Maverick Center in SLC. What a big to do….apparently there was some concern because Stansbury High graduated just before Tooele. We went to Olive Garden for an early dinner with the Bolsers, and met the Rogers, McGlothlen and Sheppard families at the arena. Hannah looked so happy and pretty in her purple gown and silver mortarboard. Silver was for the student’s graduating with honors.

After graduation and pictures, we headed en mass to a nearby In and Out for fries and shakes. Some of them ate for real. We spent quite a bit of time there reconnecting with the various family groups.

On Friday, Cheryl hosted a very nice party for Hannah. It was great meeting Hannah’s friends as well as taking the time to reconnect with all the family. It was a good support system for Hannah since her father isn’t here to celebrate with her. It was also nice knowing we would get to see them all in September since we often go a year or more between visits.
